Here we show what you can do if a problem arises before or during the running of SQL-Discovery.
Please check whether you have installed Microsoft Windows Installer 3.x, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or Microsoft HTML Help Workshop. In order to install SQL-Discovery, one of those programs must already be installed on your computer.
Following successful installation the registration dialogue appears when starting SQL-Discovery.

Enter your serial key. After expiry of a certain period of time the button for starting the demo version will be activated.

If a new version of SQL-Discovery is being installed then a new serial number is required. As a registered user you can obtain your new serial number through support@sql-discovery.com.
During generation of the documentation, the reference "Demo Version" is indicated in the output. This reference does not appear in the full version.
The demo version is fully functional, but documents only 10 database objects per type.
Check whether your web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) is installed and is also operating as your standard web browser.
Probably nothing at all, as the SQL procedures on the SQL server were set up with the "encrypted" option. That is why a documentation of these procedures is not possible.
The CHM file to be written is currently still open and can therefore not be written. Close the CHM file and start generation again.
Then simply send us your query by e-mail. We shall endeavour to reply as quickly and as in simple terms as possible.
